This is a photograph of the three sketch books used by British Army Veteran Bruce McKay of Gwynedd. Bruce served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers, taking part in the advance through northern Germany between 1944 and 1948. Bruce produced a series of images, which illustrates scenes from his time serving with the regiment.
