This photograph was provided by Mr Ernie Hughes, who joined the Ambulance service in west Wales after serving as a Fireman in the RAF. Ernie's photograph collection can be viewed online at the West Wales Veterans Archive National Service collection on the People’s Collection Wales website. It contains many photographs of RAF operations in Kenya.
