Korean war medals awarded to Welch regiment soldier Bernard Phillips
Description
This is a photograph of the two medals awarded to Mr Bernard Phillips of Llanelli, who was conscripted for National Service into the British Army in 1951. He served with the Welch Regiment in the Korean war. Recordings of an interview with Bernard, recorded in 2025 can be viewed online in Bernard's collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the People’s Collection Wales website.
