This is a photograph of the British Army soldiers service record relating to Oliver Phillips Royal Engineers, who served in WW2. Oliver's son Bernard would later follow him into the Army, when he was conscripted into the Welch Regiment in 1951. Material relating to Bernards service, including his recollections of the Korean War, can be viewed online in Bernard's collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the People’s Collection Wales website
