This is a photograph of the medals awarded to Sapper Oliver Phillips of the British Army Royal Engineers for service in WW2, his service book and a photograph of him receiving the Dunkirk medal. He was from Llanelli. Oliver's son Bernard followed him into the Army, when he was conscripted into the Welch Regiment in 1951.
