This is a photograph of Alfred Spiller and his wife Elsie, nee Robinson, believed to be taken in Portsmouth around 1966. Elsie met Alfred whilst serving in the Women's Royal Navy in the 1960s. The couple married after they both left the Navy and later moved to Wales to run a small holding at Pencarreg, Ceredigion.
