These items relate to the late Alfred Spiller, who lived with his wife Elsie Spiller nee Robinson at Pencarreg, Ceredigion. Alfred served in the Royal Navy between 1957 and 1966. He met Elsie, whilst she was serving as a Stewardess at HMS Collingwood in the mid 1960s. The couple married after leaving the Navy and later moved to Wales. Alfred's draft record helps date their early relationship. Elsie's collection, which includes a recording of an audio interview with her can be viewed online at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales Website.
