This photograph belongs to Mr Cyril Stuart, who is pictured in the image in the rear row second from the right. Cyril was called up to join the British Army in April 1950, and this image shows his troop of National Service recruits as they complete the initial training. He went on to volunteer for service with the Parachute regiment.
