This collection relates to Mr Cyril Stuart of Carmarthenshire. In 1950 Cyril was called up to undertake National Service in the British Army.  Following basic training he volunteered to join the Parachute Regiment and completed both P Company and Parachute training. He was posted to 1 Para and served with the battalion in Cyprus and Egypt. The collection supports the work of the West Wales Veterans Archive National Service project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Lottery Fund.
