Margaret Morris 1849-1920

In 1863, thirteen-year-old Margaret Morris was given a notebook at the Beulah Sunday School in Dowlais. Research into this notebook has been conducted by Margaret's descendants, uncovering the history of her life in South Wales and subsequent migration to Pittsburgh in the United States in 1886. This page contains the notebook with a full transcription and translation by volunteers from the National Library of Wales, as well as supporting documents and images from Margaret's story. It is managed by Scott Morris, Margaret's great-grandnephew.
