Diary of Margaret Morris, Dowlais, 1863

An 1863 diary belonging to Margaret Morris in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil. The diary contains transcribed hymns, poetry, notes on family relations and various religious musings. Although the variety in handwriting styles suggests multiple contributors to the text, it is believed that Margaret herself is responsible for the majority of entries which she began in Dowlais at the age of 13.
