This collection relates to the service career of Mr Stephen Walters of Goginan, Ceredigion. Stephen joined the Royal Air Force in 1964. He trained as an Airframe Technician and served both at home and overseas. He offers a fascinating insight into the experience of British servicemen serving in Aden, during the final year of British rule. Stephen also references National Servicemen he served alongside, who forged a career in the RAF. This collection supports the work of the West Wales Veterans Archive National Service project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Lottery Fund.
