This is a narrative account of the National Service career of Mr Cyril Stuart of Carmarthenshire. Cyril was conscripted for service in 1950. Following his initial training at Colchester, he volunteered for the Parachute regiment. After passing P company and Parachute jump school, he was posted to 1 Para. Cyril served in Cyprus and Egypt, completing multiple jumps with 1 Para.
